Early diagnosis of kidney dysfunction protects your heart, blood vessels, and vital organs. Routine eGFR and hydration checks save kidneys.

Clinical Basis

Kidney stone formation depends on the supersaturation of calcium oxalate, calcium phosphate, or uric acid in concentrated urine. This assessment combines daily fluid volume, dietary sodium, animal protein intake, and family history to estimate stone risk.

Reference Guidelines

  • Low Risk: Maintain daily hydration above 2.5L and moderate dietary sodium to sustain clear urine.
  • Moderate Risk: Increase fluid intake by 500–750 ml daily. Reduce dietary salt and excess animal protein. Add fresh lemon juice (citrate).
  • High Risk: Urgent urological evaluation recommended. High recurrence likelihood without strict 3L+ fluid pacing and 24-hour urine metabolic evaluation.
